21 Day Fix & 21 Day Fix EXTREME Challenge Group

Initially Team Aloha was going to do a 21 Day Fix EXTREME challenge group, we changed our minds. We figured this made the group too difficult for some people. We didn’t want to to not include someone if they were not at the EXTREME level yet. We officially kicked off our Team Aloha 21 Day Fix & 21 Day Fix EXTREME challenge group yesterday! We now have over 140 participants committed to the 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix EXTREME workouts and meal plan for 3 weeks. The group is super motivating! We are all posting our sweaty selfies, meal plans, recipes, and motivation. I officially took me before pictures yesterday. I am participating in this test group just like the original. I will be doing the entire 21 Day Fix EXTREME program from start to finish with no cheats or treats. In the original 21 Day Fix EXTREME challenge group with the other coaches, I followed the reverse countdown to competition meal plan. This time I am going to do the regular 21 Day Fix EXTREME meal plan. I am excited to see what kind of results this time!


Sunday night, I went out and had my last ”treat” meal which consisted of a huge plate of nachos, macaroni and cheese, and a brownie from Yard House. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach and I couldn’t finish my mac & cheese…I was saving room for dessert ;). I had to take the rest of my mac & cheese home. I know it was not on my plan yesterday so instead of wasting food I put it in a freezer bag! This will be ready for me when I am done with the 21 Day Fix EXTREME! 🙂

21 Day Fix EXTREME Meal Plan- Day 1

Instead of eating mac & cheese my meals yesterday consisted of:

Meal #1: Egg omelette with a side of whole-wheat toast
Meal #2: Vegan Chocolate Shakeology with 1/2 a banana
Snack #1 Mixed nuts
Meal #3  Greenberry Shakeology with 1/2 a banana (I normally wouldn’t do this but was out of the house and in a bind)
Meal #4 Chicken sausage on top of mixed salad with balsamic dressing
Snack #2 Apple with almond butter
Meal #5 Toast with almond butter

21 Day Fix EXTREME Breakfast, Marissa Myers

I am going to fully admit I was exhausted last night. I planned to do my workout before I went out of the house but I didn’t. I worked in the morning supporting everyone in the 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix EXTREME challenge group, worked on the redesign of this website, and then held several team calls. I was spent by 9 PM and I skipped my workout.  I didn’t beat myself up though. First thing this morning at 7 am, I did my 21 Day Fix EXTREME Plyo Extreme workout. I used 10 pound weights for this one. I was dripping sweat by the end. Don’t beat yourself up if you miss a workout or have a “treat.” Just get back on the horse and start again. We can do this together! It is just 21 days right?
