I am almost a week into this program and I am feeling very positive about the 21 Day Fix Extreme meal plan and workouts results so far! I was feeling a little discouraged on days 3 and 4 because many of the test group participants were losing pounds and I was actually gaining. I finally started to see the scale go down yesterday. I was down 3.2 pounds yesterday and today I am down 4.8 pounds. Again, I know a lot of this is water weight. Healthy weight loss is actually between 1-3 pounds a week. I don’t believe I will continue to drop weight like this but I am happy to know that my bloating has gone down and I am starting to see my abs pop again. I have been following the 21 Day Fix Extreme workout schedule exactly as laid out for us. Before I started the test group I was struggling to workout 5-6 days a week. I usually did PiYo 4 days a week and would double up on 2 of those days to get through all the scheduled workouts. I loved PiYo but the extra motivation from our online support and accountability group is keeping me right on track.

Autumn Calabrese’s competition meal prep is NO JOKE! I am going to admit, I woke up extremely hungry this morning. I didn’t believe I was going to make it through today without cheating. I started my day off with a bang and had some a big breakfast so I wouldn’t cheat later.  I figured if I ate a filling meal I would set myself up for a good day. I have been drinking my chocolate vegan shakeology everyday like clockwork. I know Autmun doesn’t drink shakeology when she is in competition prep but I love the energy it gives me and how it curbs my cravings. I also love the way it tastes and it helps me get in my healthy chocolate fix!

The workout for today on the 21 Day Fix Extreme schedule kicked my little booty. I switched between 5, 10 and 12.5 pound weights for all the exercises. My entire body was sore when I started and now my traps are extremely sore. I am loving what the 21 Day Fix Extreme meal plan and workouts are doing for my body thus far. I can’t wait to see the results of the other coaches in the coach test group! This program will be released February 2015.
