21 Day Fix Extreme Meal Plan and Workouts Review Day 4

Day 4 21 Day Fix Extreme Workouts

Today, I drank my shakeology first thing in the morning and did my workout 2 hours after drinking my shakeology. I decided to go a little higher with my weights to push myself a little harder. That is the other awesome part of this program. You can change it up and challenge yourself more or less each day.  I completed the Body Beast program not too long ago and I was pushing myself pretty hard and lifting heavy weights. I figured I could handle heavier weights but I don’t recommend doing that if you are a beginner or if you haven’t used weights in a while.  I suggest starting with a lighter weight likes 5’s or 7’s and work your way up. You don’t want to overdue it and cause an injury!

21 Day Fix Extreme

21 Day Fix Meal Plan Day 4

As far as the meal plan goes, I am totally staying on track with it. I find that I feel less hungry than I was with the original 21 Day Fix. Maybe because I am actually following it exactly with no treats. I still had my occasional treat on the 21 Day Fix. Just a little FYI for those just starting with shakeology, I love starting my day with chocolate vegan shakeology with a handful of spinach, 4 ounces of almond milk, 4 ounces of water, 1/2 a banana, 1 teaspoon of almond butter, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and ice. I blend it in my Vitamix until it is thick and creamy. One of my clients told me about putting spinach in it. At first I didn’t think I would like it but trust me you really can’t taste the spinach. This way you can have an extra serving of veggies even if you aren’t really big on eating veggies.   I love this program because there is flexibly as long as you remain within the guidelines of the meal plan.

21 Day Fix Results Day 4

I weighed myself again this morning and I went up a little bit from yesterday. Not sure why that is but I am certain it will go down as I keep doing the program. The other coach test group participants have lost between 3-7 pounds in the first 4 days of the program. I am sure some of that is water weight. If you don’t lose weight right away with the 21 Day Fix, don’t stress. When you start a new exercise program it is normal for your muscles to swell and you to maintain water. You may see your weight go up the first few days and then come down.  So far the workouts and meal plan are challenging but definitely doable. This program is going to be launched in February 2015. If you are looking to get started with a program in the meantime we will be starting and online support and accountability group for the 21 Day Fix in the coming weeks. If you want to hear more about this, tell me about your goals by filling out the brief questionnaire below. I would love to support you! 🙂
