21 Day Fix Recipe: Nutty Whole Wheat Bread

This amazing 21 Day Fix Recipe for nutty whole wheat bread recipe came in the bread recipe booklet with my Cuisinart bread maker. I made it for the first time today and it turned out so yummy. I love it as toast with a small amount of vegan spread on it! Leave out the vegan spread if you are doing the 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix EXTREME. Enjoy!

Make your own 21 Day Fix Nutty Whole Wheat Bread instead of using store bought bread!

Ingredients (makes a 2 lb loaf)

1/3 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 1/4 cups whole wheat bread flour
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast, active dry, instant or bread machine
3/4 cup mixed nuts and seeds (walnuts, pecans, pumpkin, seeds, sunflower seeds)

Recipe
Place all ingredients except nuts and seeds, in the order listed, in the bread pan fitted with the kneading paddle. Secure the bread pan in your bread maker. If your bread maker has a whole wheat program select that setting. Press loaf size and crust color buttons to select both size and crust preference. Press stop/start to mix, knead, rise and bake. When the mix-in tone sounds, add the mixed nuts and seeds. If desired, when paddle signal sounds remove dough and kneading paddle, reshape dough and replace the bread pan. When the cycle is complete, remove the bread pan from the machine and transfer bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
