Core De Force MMA Power Review Day 17
I worked my one day a week as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist today. This means I spent the majority of the day in the operating room delivering anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery. Normally I would skip my workout when I work all day in the OR BUT I have goals. My goal is to complete the entire Core De Force Program in 30 days. I am already one day behind from taking TWO rest days last week so I wasn’t about to let myself slip another day behind this week.
I came home from working my anesthesia shift and I didn’t give myself a chance to get in the mindset of skipping my workout. This day has been super crazy because I am in the process of purchasing my first home and there were some crazy negotiations going on all day. Every time I had a break between cases, I was on the phone with my realtor discussing whether we were going to more forward with the home purchase or cancel the contact.
To make a long story short, the home inspection was completed Monday and we were told the home needs new roof. The homeowner swears the roof is fine and doesn’t need to be replaced but the home didn’t pass the inspection. The homeowner didn’t want to give me any credit toward this at first, which means I was going to have to cancel the contract. We ended up meeting halfway in the middle and the new contact has been signed and I will still be buying the home! Phew!
I had A LOT of pent up energy from the excitement of the day and I truly feel if I would have tried to go to sleep like that, I would not have been able to sleep. This made me realize we NEED exercise. It helps us release all that pent up energy from our day in a positive way. I felt 100% better after my workout, Then, after teaching my CIZE live class tonight, I was TOTALLY spent! Working out is NOT a stressor. It is a stress releaser! 🙂
Once I finished my Core De Force MMA Power workout, I had that thought that I would just skip Core De Force Core Kinetics. Again, I have goals so I had a little conversation with myself in my head and told myself I COULD do this. I didn’t even cool down after MMA Power. I just went right into Core Kinetics. That seemed to work from me because I got it done! 🙂
