What can I expect from my Shaun Week Insane Basics Workout?

The name Insane Basics had me thinking this was not going to be a super challenging workout. I guess the name “basic” threw me for a loop so don’t do like I did an confuse basic for easy. It started off simple and I thought I was going to be disappointed that it was too easy for me. Of course, I should have known Shaun T doesn’t make easy workouts. Even T25 that is ONLY 25 minutes per day still has you out of breath and covered in sweat.

Shaun T started with 4 moves, 30 seconds each, all at a level 1 difficulty. Then, during the second round of the 4 moves, he increased to a level 2 difficulty. Finally, during round 3 of the 4 moves, he progressed to a level 3 difficulty. No worries if your body can’t handle high impact because there is a modifier that stays low impact. You can either follow the modifier or stay at level 1 for all 3 rounds. Expect that you will be dripping sweat because my mat was COVERED!

What equipment do I need for my Shaun Week Insane Basics workout?

My suggestion is water, a towel and a Beachbody Jump Mat.

 

 

Does Shaun Week come with a nutritional plan?

No. I am following the 21 Day Fix portion control system for Shaun Week.
