Day 20 Core De Force Workout Review – Dynamic Strength

The first time I completed Dynamic Strength I was left feeling like I am pretty weak. Before starting the Core De Force program, I was consistently working out 4 to 5 times a week using a Core De Force prep hybrid I created using Beachbody On Demand. It included Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews exclusive Beachbody On Demand workouts as well as workouts from TurboFire, P90X3 and The 20’s.

I created the prep hybrid to included 6 day a week workouts but I wasn’t sticking with them. I would skip 1 to 2 workouts per week and then carry them over to the next week and keep going. I think this allowed some weakness to creep in.

You see, when I am completing a Beachbody workout program exactly as laid out, I always either build strength or cardiovascular endurance and sometimes both.

For example, with Country Heat and CIZE, I built cardiovascular endurance. They are cardio dance programs and don’t have any strength training in them. With Body Beast, I built a lot of strength. With the 21 Day Fix EXTREME and Hammer & Chisel, I built strength AND cardiovascular endurance.

My point is that when I complete ANY Beachbody workout program EXACTLY as laid out, from start to finish, I am more consistent with my workouts and I get better results.

THAT was my goal with the Core De Force program. I am NOT to lose weight or inches. My goal is simply to give it my all and complete the 30 day program IN 30 days. I don’t want to skip any workouts or do any makeup days.

So far, I have done every workout except the active recovery days. On those days I have done more stretching or yoga or simply rested my body.

Like I said before, when I started this program and did Dynamic Strength for the first time, I saw how weak I had become from not working out as consistently as I would have liked. I could NOT do a SINGLE Sphinx Blaster on my toes on day 2 of Dynamic Strength. In fact, I didn’t even know how to do the proper form on my knees.

Review Core De Force Meal Plan Day 20

I am finally back to a better, more normal and healthy eating meal plan today. Last week I was a little off and over the weekend it just got worse before it got better. The important thing if you fall off is NOT to let it derail you. Understand and accept that NONE of us are perfect. We are all going to have off days so it is best to accept those and move on. The more you beat yourself up, the more you will keep doing the thing you don’t want to do.

Here is my Core De Force meal plan for day 20 (the colored hearts are the 21 Day Fix container equivalents)

10:00 Beachbody Performance Energize
10:30 Core De Force Dynamic Strength
11:30 Beachbody Performance Recover ❤️
12:30 Veggie Burger, Cucumbers, Clementines ❤️???
3:30 Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeo, 8 Ounces Almond Milk, 1/2 Banana, 4 Strawberries ❤️??
5:30 Tuna Melt ??❤️??
8:30 Toast With Peanut Butter ??
