Core De Force DELUXE MMA Power & Core Kinetics
Get ready for a KILLER combination with these 2 workouts back-to-back. To me, MMA Power is one of the HARDEST MMA style Core De Force workouts. Then, add on 15-minutes of Core with Core Kinetics and that is a deadly combination. I think Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews like to torture us! Totally kidding. I have actually grown to love these 2 workouts back-to-back. If you don’t make it a huge deal in your mind, it won’t be a huge deal in real life. You’ll actually enjoy adding those 15 minutes of abs on because you will feel so empowered from them.
I know it is the holiday season and it would be extremely easy for me to skip my workout. However, my goal was to finish this program in 30 days. I am going to admit that I will be finishing it in 31 days. I took an extra rest day somewhere along the way. In the past, I would have been discouraged by taking that rest day. This would have lead me to taking more rest days and getting super behind schedule. This time, I didn’t make it such a big deal. I took an extra rest day but didn’t beat myself up over it. I simply kept working my way through the program until completion.
My point is – when we beat ourselves up over anything in the journey, we will tend to keep doing the very thing we beat ourselves up for. I have found that the best way to keep progressing is NOT to beat ourselves up over anything. If you make poor food choices one day, make better choices the next. If you take an extra rest day, don’t let it throw off your entire schedule. Either double up on your workouts the following day or just keep going with the schedule. Either way, you will complete the program.
Who cares if it takes you a couple of extra days?! Is that going to make or break your life?! Heck NO! So control the controllable and enjoy the PROCESS. Health & fitness are a journey, NOT a destination. This is a LIFELONG commitment to yourself and your health. EVERYTHING stems from our health. When we aren’t feeling well, everything in our lives are effected. When we don’t like how we look or don’t feel confident in our bodies, everything else is effected. Do your best and forget the rest! It will all workout.
