All I can say is “WOW!” Beachbody really has outdone themselves this time. Every time Beachbody launches a new program I commit to completing at least one round for a few reasons: 1. I get bored with workouts easily and want to change up my routine to keep it fresh. 2. I feel as a Top Beachbody Coach, it is part of my job to complete the program so I can authentically share what it has done for me with my challengers and team.
After completing shorter programs like the 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix EXTREME, I thought it was going to be tough to go back to completing a 60-Day program like Hammer and Chisel. I misjudged how different this program was going to be. Autumn Calabrese, creator of the 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix EXTREME and Sagi Kalev, creator of Body Beast, didn’t just take moves from their original programs and create a new program with all the same moves. They completely changed the moves and the workouts so it it totally different from the 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix EXTREME and Body Beast.

The Master’s Hammer and Chisel Review Week One
I was pleasantly surprised that Autumn Calabrese and Sagi Kalev didn’t just make this a 21 Day Fix/Body Beast combination. As I said earlier, I get bored easily and am constantly changing my workouts to keep them fresh! On day one, I thought Chisel Balance must be like a rest day! I was WRONG! It challenged me and left my dripping in sweat. I always know Plyo is going to be a good workout. Iso Speed Hammer for me seemed the most gentle. Chisel Endurance was the most challenging for me. Total Body Hammer was 40 minutes so I was dreading it but it went by super fast. I always love the 10 minute ab videos and you can do this as many times as you like during the week. You don’t even feel like you are working out to this it goes by so fast and your abs are on fire when you are done.
I was super sore as I pushed myself pretty hard with lifting heavier weights than I have been for a while. I drank my Shakeology everyday and followed a modified 21 Day Fix Meal Plan with a few added treats. I used the Beachbody Performance Recharge Supplement in the evenings to combat soreness.
